In addition to its responsibility for cultivating skilled technical talents, the Industry Academy focuses on assisting industrial transformation or upgrades, exploring new development spaces, and strengthening the advantage of technological leadership. This aims to position related industries as "high-value-added" centers, enhancing their critical role in the global high-tech landscape. Most domestic automotive parts manufacturers are labor-intensive SMEs, primarily located in areas around Taoyuan City, Taichung City, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Chiayi County, and Kaohsiung City, which are in the central and southern regions of Taiwan.
Addressing pressing issues like cultivating specialized talents, implementing smart electric vehicle manufacturing models, strengthening export markets, and boosting industry competitiveness is of utmost importance. Therefore, dedicated courses will be offered in cooperation with enterprise-specific training programs, utilizing practical training environments to foster cross-disciplinary skills among on-the-job employees. Close industry partnerships with automotive parts manufacturers will be established, demonstrating innovative R&D capabilities and gaining industry recognition.
Furthermore, efforts are underway to design interdisciplinary talent cultivation programs and teaching systems tailored to industry needs, thereby training outstanding professionals who meet the requirements of the industry.
